A WPM result is easier to compare when test duration and text type are similar.
Use enough text
Very short tests can be heavily influenced by a fast or slow opening.
Keep the conditions similar
Keyboard, text difficulty and correction rules can affect the result.
Track accuracy separately
Speed alone does not describe typing quality.
